The 470 is an Olympic class sailboat. Generally not a boat for novices, this complex boat carries a main sail and a jib as well as a spinnaker. The crew frequently does its work suspended from a trapeze harness. It has the greatest potential for speed and a thrilling ride. We expect 13 boats at our 33th Annual 470 Spring Regatta. All level of racers will be present. We have a club boat for use if you are qualified and contact us early. Crew positions are available through our email or the 470 fleet captain. Our club is closely associated with many sailors in the Milwaukee area at the Sailing Center located on Lake Michigan. There are many traveling regattas that you could participate in throughout the year. I hope you will join us.
